 Welcome back friends and family to the place formerly known as "B0B's PL@CE".  I have, for lack of a better word, maintained this small private site since May 13, 2000. Things are always changing in this wild-wild-world known to you as reality and so must this small cyberspace. First thing that you may notice is that the more Html and Java Script I learn, the cleaner and easier I make the site. You have made it to this, the 10th version, and I thank you. The old site will rest in peace, if not only in memory. I, being of somewhat sane mind and body, hereby declare this site as "SimplyJack"; that's right my ego has no boundaries. I will have movie reviews, top ten lists and even some of my original factual fiction stories and more verbiage in my prose than the "Patriot Act" can contain. Thank you for your support and remember "Left wing, right wing, it all tastes good to me".

This was my day. August 13, 2004.

• Alarm didn't go off this morning.

• Stubbed my little-left toe on the door frame of bedroom.

• Had to use downstairs rest room and almost fell down the stairs due to toe hurting.

• Hurricane Charley changes route and heads into Central Florida where the few and only relatives I like live.

• Raw Deal Summerslam Tin box not at local comics and games retailer yet. This means three weeks overdue. 

• My King Henry-styled office chair lost a wheel. I lost 3 hours finding it and repairing it. (new screws for wheel; free...don't ask about computer case)

• Dressed and ready to head out and almost locked myself out of the house.

• Got off at library, stood in line 10 minutes to pick-up items on hold and remembered that I left my library card back in the car.

• Heading down South to a friend's house when right after the over-priced toll my small and dirty two- door used-to-be reliable car "stopped working". Two hours and 26 minutes later the tow truck arrived, with an annoyed driver who clearly didn't like the fact that I was adding "work" to his work day. (tow truck bill for 10 mile toll; $70)

• Didn't get to play Cash 3. My numbers came up. (4-3-7)

• "I'm home, I'm not leaving my house ever again." Then the call. "Hey, Hunnie. Can you guess what day it is?" The silence, the flashback, the world was out to get me. "It's Friday the 13th." (realization that I am not superstitious; priceless)
